LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experience HR Director for our client in the DMV area for a hybrid role. This position will work with the C-Suite to lead the HR function for a organization of 300 staff members in a multi-state setting.
Work alongside CEO and senior management to develop talent in the organization, plan succession, and establish key programs and plans.
Recruit, counsel, motivate, evaluate, train and schedule assigned staff.
Develop benefit and compensation strategies and review current plans and compare with industry best practices. Research new benefits/compensation programs or modifications of existing programs.
Address compensation and benefit issues.
Work with legal counsel to resolve issues as they are identified.
Develop, document and implement compensation and bonus plans. Use spreadsheet software to cost out various alternatives and pay-out scenarios. Develop and maintain salary band ranges.
Manage the administration and implementation of the corporation's Performance Management Plan process.
Assume the lead in gathering data and making recommendations for the Human Resources/Administration budget in the yearly budgeting process.
Act as a resource to management on issues regarding compensation and benefits and assist in evaluating labor contract compensation strategies.
Identify training and development needs and develop plans, procedures and programs to meet those needs.
Provide consultation to management regarding causes of organization problems and recommend and promote solutions, ensuring measurable progress.
Provide ongoing communication to all employees on compensation, benefit and training issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources
Strong consultative, communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiation and administration
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy “Q” security clearance.
