Temp to perm HR Coordinator role. Hybrid (3 days onsite) in Midtown Manhattan. Must have at least 2-3 years of hands on HR experience to be considered.


Starting pay $30-35/hr

Annual salary: $65-75k base


Responsibilities:

  • Support the internship programs across the organization, working with various academic institutions
  • Develop intern policies, procedures, and standards
  • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to identify internship opportunities and define role requirements
  • Facilitate intern onboarding and orientation sessions
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to interns throughout their internship
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and networking events to enhance interns' professional development
  • Maintain accurate records of intern activities, attendance, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with different schools to promote the internship program and attract potential candidates
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR records, assist in the preparation of offer letters and other employment records


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required, along with at least 2-3 years of related experience in the field of human resources
  • Familiarity with Paycom and JazzHR is preferred;
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications is required
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to build positive relationships and to work collaboratively to solve problems
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Experience handling sensitive HR information with confidentiality and discretion;
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
