What you’ll do:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept at building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and passionate about driving HR initiatives that align with our business goals. This role is critical in providing HR expertise and guidance to support our dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Employee Relations: Build and maintain positive relations with employees. Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues, thus fostering a positive and productive work environment
Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and employee satisfaction. Organize and coordinate employee events and activities to foster a sense of community and teamwork
Onboarding: Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including delivering training on various HR platforms, updating onboarding materials (including the handbook), and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
Performance Management: Implement and manage performance management processes
Organizational Development: Identify opportunities for organizational improvements and drive initiatives, such as professional development and mentorship that enhance team effectiveness and employee engagement
HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all HR policies and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and best practices. Research and revise company policies under the guidance of company leadership.
Employee Data: Process and maintain accuracy of employee data and personnel files
Exit Management: Oversee the employee exit process, including conducting exit interviews to gather feedback and analyzing turnover trends
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
PHR/SHRM Certification required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
Strong understanding of human resource principles and employment laws
Intuition, sensitivity, listening, and problem solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to anticipate and work proactively to provide necessary HR solutions

Compensation:
Base salary range - 75000-95000
Ability to earn upside bonus and equity, rapid career progression

Location:
Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in person at our headquarters in Arlington, VA, and 2 days remote) is preferred.
