Summary/ Objective:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides Human Resources support to Amsive, focusing on people management support, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and best practices of hourly and professional employees. The HRBP aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units, forming partnerships across the Human Resources function to deliver value-added services that reflect the organization's business objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in weekly meetings with business units
  • Provide HR guidance to line management
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics, develop solutions and policies
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Offer performance management guidance
  • Improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention
  • Be seen as a trusted partner to management and leadership and valued support by all employees in Production and Operations teams
  • Provide HR policy guidance
  • Identify training needs and monitor training programs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

General Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing work-related issues and providing coaching and guidance
  • Partner with department leadership on employee engagement and retention programs
  • Advise managers on organizational and compliance policy matters
  • Administer HR plans and procedures, assisting in their development and implementation
  • Monitor new hire and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance and providing feedback as needed
  • Handle employee relations, and disciplinary actions
  • Provide various HR-related information and reports
  • Foster employee welfare and support event planning
  • Conduct exit interviews and handle disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Support VP/HR Business Partner with special projects
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise judgment in handling sensitive issues

Recruiting Responsibilities:

  • Support Recruiting teams with onsite interviews

Temporary Labor Coordination Responsibilities:

  • Manage staffing agency relationships and compliance matters

Security Clearance Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate SSA / IRS security clearance process for Greenville, SC employees

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but will consider a combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of HR experience in resolving complex employee relations issues, preferably in a manufacturing operation
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines
  • Proficiency in understanding and applying relevant laws, guidelines, and regulations
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to make improvements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • SHRM certification preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position serves as a coach and mentor for other departmental positions but has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: This job is located in a standard office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
