HR Business Partner

Position: Human Resource Business Partner

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY 10017

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year


Overview

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in aligning our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in HR, particularly within large corporate environments in industries such as staffing, finance, hotels, or hospitality. This position requires a strategic thinker who can provide expert advice and guidance on all HR matters, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and programs.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and challenges, and provide HR guidance and support.
  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Act as a consultant to management on HR-related issues such as employee relations, performance management, career development, and compensation.
  • Drive recruitment efforts for key roles, collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute effective hiring strategies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to deliver high-quality HR services and support across the entire organization.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably in a staffing company, finance company, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
