Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Housekeeping/Janitorial Staff member. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies
Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
Maintain and stock cleaning supplies and equipment
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Respond to cleaning emergencies as needed
Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred but not required
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds
Excellent communication skills
