The primary role of the Hourly Field Training Manager is to manage and track hourly food and beverage training programs. They will work closely with various members of the Training Department and ensure all task-related objectives are completed and communicated to the field. They will own the management of the Training Manager area of responsibility and be the direct contact for those managers regarding position training. They will support the selection process, training, and development of Field Training Captains. Other responsibilities will include developing and maintaining training programs, supporting new location openings, and facilitating training sessions (in person and virtual).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Center Support/Field Based

  • Work with the Training Design team to identify and build training materials, e-learning courses, and videos to support a sales culture in all locations. Update materials as needed.
  • Validate the effectiveness of training plans and materials to identify training gaps and compose/execute plans with clear objectives, outcomes, and follow-up measurements.
  • Function as a main point of contact for coaching in-center Training Managers to uphold company standards across all locations.
  • Manage the selection, onboarding, and ongoing development of in-center training positions to ensure that they deliver consistent results and champion the culture of the Bowlero Corp brand(s) and company standards.
  • Monitor sales metrics by center and collaborate with various departments, and the District Manager of Operations, Area Manager of Operations, and Regional Vice President of Operations to improve performance.
  • Conduct “Train-the-Trainer” sessions, in person or virtually, and ensure locations meet Company standards. Conduct refresher courses for the field as needed.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays to support business needs.
  • Travel is required - 30-40%

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

QUALIFICATIONS: The Hourly Field Training Manager must have a background in training and managing a team in food and beverage, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality results. In addition, they possess a highly developed sense of leadership. Must be a strong team player and possess strong presentation skills. Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams proficiency.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma plus a minimum of three years in training, managing, and facilitating associate food and beverage development programs. Knowledge of the food and beverage/hospitality industry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Bowling center or office environment where you will walk, bend and stand for periods of time, and may lift objects with some assistance. The noise level is typical for bowling.

The approximate pay range for this position is $67,000-74,400 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
