Our communities need resilient infrastructure with minimal environmental impact to thrive. This is the call we proudly answer through 14 years of road building, paving, building demolition, municipal water main replacement, and storm sewer repair. Our dedication goes beyond mere pride; we are deeply obsessed with dirt, dump trucks, excavators, and caring for people.
How you’ll get to help us:
In this newly created role, you'll be fully dedicated to transforming the challenges and complexities of growth into a well-oiled machine.
What you’ll get to do:
Manage heavy civil commercial, industrial, municipal, state, and large site projects from $500K - $10M - including plans, look ahead, sequencing, resourcing, safety & environmental control, pay items, and stakeholder relationships
Build the right team by clarifying individual responsibilities, hiring and terminating as needed, and instilling urgency around shared objectives
Create a structured environment that supports company growth through formalized operations and efficient production
Develop a thriving culture through leadership, coaching, and performance management - ensuring each person feels supported and understands how production efficiency, quality workmanship, safety, and equipment maintenance benefit them personally
About you:
You have 5+ years experience supervising any of the following heavy civil work: sitework, asphalt, paving, road building, demolition, full-scope concrete, earth moving, or utility projects - including manpower and team leadership
Your project leadership experience includes creating project timelines as a prime contractor, not only limited to following prescribed schedules as a subcontractor
You get fired up for new challenges. Maintaining the status quo when there's opportunity for improvement goes against your nature. You don't need everything spelled out for you, because you enjoy writing the book yourself
Your combination of experience, determination, and ability to think critically enables you to develop well-planned, highly productive, and efficient project operations
You influence others as a leader through an intentional balance of high expectations and caring, always making the effort to explain the "why" instead of yelling
Even better (but not required) if:
You have 10+ years experience
You have experience with Trimble and/or GPS (on equipment and on tablet for stakeouts)
What’s in it for you:
The best companies show genuine care for their employees. We know that when you’re happy at work, you do your best — it’s that simple. Expect a helping hand when you need it and true appreciation for the value you provide. It’s easy to succeed when you enjoy your work and when your workplace is grateful to have you.
