Job Title: Healthcare IT Project Manager

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT projects within the healthcare domain from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and administration.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide detailed project reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
  • Facilitate user training and support during project implementation.
  • Continuously evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes, systems, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT systems, such as EHR/EMR, PACS, and HIS.
  • PMP, CSM, or similar project management certification is preferred.
