Akkodis is seeking a Healthcare IT Program Manager (Oracle ERP OR Cerner) for a Full-Time Employees with a client located in Glendale, CA-Remote)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE/DURATION: Full time employee/FTE

COMPENSATION: $140-$180k depending on experience

LOCATION DETAILS: Preferably CA based if possible. But open if they can work PST hours.


Job Description: Healthcare IT Program Manager (Oracle ERP OR Cerner)

Description

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of project and program management and robust Healthcare IT experience. This role requires strong coordination, a highly collaborative approach, a deep knowledge of project methodologies and processes, and a good base understanding of healthcare applications and workflows. Successful candidates will have the proven ability to drive execution of programs and overall portfolios by delivering successful results and being accountable for overall delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a strategy and implementation of a healthcare IT program focused on revenue cycle and enterprise resource management (ERP)
  • Coordinate and engage a large group of stakeholders and subject matter experts to review and provide feedback on proposed solutions.
  • Consolidate and analyze all feedback to provide an overall assessment and ensure organizational needs and risks are clearly identified.
  • Deliver solution justifications and business cases, including investment alternatives to support project prioritization and budget planning.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and address risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment through constant communication and realistic expectation setting.
  • Manage the relationships with the external vendors involved and enforce accountability and quality delivery where required.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of project management tools and processes used with the delivery lifecycle.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, applications, and industry standards
  • Understanding of ERP systems, workflows and processes
  • Experience implementing an Oracle ERP or Cerner Revenue Cycle System would be ideal but not required.
  • Experience managing large-scale IT programs with multiple projects and stakeholders across multiple departments and disciplines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in risk identification, management and mitigation, and change management procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work on and manage challenging projects with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve objectives with limited supervision and guidance.
  • Ability to manage agile, waterfall and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and equivalent planning tools
  • Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
