About Our Client

We are a leading construction firm specializing in healthcare projects, committed to delivering excellence and innovation in the dynamic New York market. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing and overseeing commercial construction projects throughout the New York region.

Job Description

  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Coordinate and communicate with healthcare professionals, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and integration.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and report on performance, identifying any issues or risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of project status reports, presentations, and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting outcomes and action items.
  • Assist in the management of project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
