Location: DMV area, supporting a Federal Government Agency. Possibility for telework options, subject to project requirements and company policies.

Ph.D. in Social Science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience relevant to the listed duties and responsibilities
Duties And Responsibilities
Design and conduct statistical analyses and research projects on the characteristics of the US healthcare workforce and its utilization.
Improve data and methodologies in current mathematical/statistical models that attempt to reflect or reproduce the functioning of the healthcare system and its component markets, including the effects and interrelationships of supply, demand, and other considerations.
Research and analyze a series of healthcare workforce topics requiring multiple large datasets, such as the labor supply of health professionals, the geographic distribution of the workforce, and the utilization of health services.
Conduct a series of data-gathering activities designed to identify new and/or updated datasets.
Evaluate and recommend the inclusion of new data into existing or newly developed forecasting models.
Additional Requirements
Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at a minimum of Public Trust level.
Physical Capabilities
Regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods; use hands to handle objects and feel controls; talk; listen; and vision capabilities that enable reading and viewing a computer screen.
Work Environment
Work environment is an office setting (workstation). Employee is not exposed to weather conditions and noise level in work area is minimal.
