About the role:

Retail Media as a category is 50B+ market and growing quickly. As retailers look to bring their retail media strategy to the physical world, we believe the revenue potential across both SaaS and the marketplace could be transformative for Vistar and the wider DOOH ecosystem.

It is inevitable that stores will look to digitize either to replace existing static shopper marketing and/or to expand what they are doing in retail media (bring high margin online media business offline).

Vistar's stack can power every facet of this evolution.

What you’ll do:


  • Research the market and opportunity, including setting 2024 and longer term revenue goals.
  • Define strategy, messaging, GTM, and customer segmentation.
  • Build retailer-direct relationships and perform enterprise-level sales. Breakdown each retailer into its component parts (RMN, shopper marketing, IT, etc) and build a comprehensive account by account plan to attack. Get our solutions installed within retailers / RMNs.
  • Clarify the needs of potential customers and bring learnings back to product/engineering for iteration (e.g. how do we make our product truly killer for this customer segment?)
  • Define our needs as an org to properly support and scale this. Can we do it with our existing team? If not, where should we invest across marketing / sales / support etc?
  • Deliver against the 2024 revenue goals, building momentum for long term growth



What experience we’re looking for:


  • Deep knowledge and relationships across the Retail Media space.
  • Has incubated new lines of business, from strategy through to execution
  • Grown Enterprise Sales businesses from sub-scale to scaled, with $50M+ revenues
  • Developed and managed C-Suite relationships.
  • Successful business partnership with other sales teams, finance, product, and marketing
  • A healthy combination of both Sales and Business Development skills, with a bias to the former

At Vistar Media, we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and other relevant business considerations. These considerations can cause compensation to vary. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position. The salary range estimate for this position as performed in New York City is $230,000 - $250,000 plus variable compensation, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match, and a lifestyle stipend. The salary range for this position as performed outside of New York City may vary. The actual pay will be at Vistar Media’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
