Head Bookkeeper

Krokit is a new age finance firm whose mission is to bring modern accounting and back-office services to the $700 billion+ franchise industry. To date, franchises have relied on outdated services and technology solutions that do not meet the specific needs they have. We are a team of franchise, software, and finance experts, who are using software-powered bookkeeping to fundamentally change the way franchise brands scale and operate.

We are a pre-seed company and a tight-knit team largely based in New York City (NYC area applicants preferred, but not required). We are seeking a Head Bookkeeper to work with our current clients, and lead the initiative of building out our bookkeeping team. This is truly a ground-floor opportunity with a startup looking to disrupt a massive but overlooked industry.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently deliver high-quality bookkeeping services to our customers in the US market.
• Manage customer deadlines and expectations within a collaborative environment.
• Work with product and engineering teams to enhance and evolve US-specific bookkeeping processes.
• Mentor and guide new bookkeepers brought on as our client base scales.
• Create standard operating procedures within our propietary software as well as Quickbooks best practices
• Have fun!

Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping (preferably working with small businesses)
• Highly proficient in Quickbooks online (this is important)!
