The Post Production Manager will oversee the GTN original programming post-production process. This includes media management, editing, and mastering ensuring that all content is broadcast-ready and aligns with the standards of Gospel Truth Network.
Essential Duties
Lead and manage a team of editors, sound designers, and post-production specialists, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor the progress of production projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and excellence in all post-production activities.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimize productivity and maintain high standards of quality.
Supervise the editing of faith-based programs, ensuring that content is engaging, accurate to the producer's vision, and adheres to GTN’s mission.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all audio and visual elements meet broadcast standards and technical specifications.
Ensure that all content adheres to legal and ethical standards, including copyright and licensing regulations.
Oversee the mastering process, ensuring that all programs are prepared and formatted correctly for broadcasting and distribution.
Work closely with producers, directors, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver content that meets creative and technical specifications.
Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise.
Stay current with the latest post-production technologies, software, and industry trends, and implement upgrades and improvements as needed.
Manage post-production equipment and software, ensuring that all tools are properly maintained and used effectively.
Allocate resources efficiently to ensure that all projects are supported adequately and completed successfully.
Maintain strict media management folder structures and processes.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proven experience in post-production management or a similar role in the broadcast or media industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of editors and post-production specialists.
Excellent editing skills and a deep understanding of post-production processes, software, and technologies.
Must be able to effectively operate Mac and Windows-based computers and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Requirements
Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Must sign the Statement of Faith.
A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
Associate’s degree or equivalent education is preferred.
Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
Must pass all required checks.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in film production, media studies, communications, or a related field preferred.
5+ Years of editing experience preferred.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
