The Regional Sales Manager-Grower is responsible for ensuring that the company meets its annual sales and gross profit objectives and for coordinating all sales efforts within their assigned sales region.
Compensation Data: Exempt salary starting at $80-120k plus based upon experience.
Travel: 75% in office; 25% in the field
Location:Grower West Region (Rocky Mountains to the Pacific – must live in this region)
Primarily M-F, hour based on business need.
Key Responsibilities
Execute on specific objectives for the region of responsibility.
Execute reports as necessary reflecting results of goals.
Set clear expectations and measure performance for all direct reports.
Ensure that the Company meets its annual sales and gross profit objectives.
Set individual sales and gross profit objectives.
Set territory assignments and adjust as needed.
Identify where the team needs additional resources.
Help Design sales promotions, spiffs, contests, etc.
Spend time in the field (15-25%) on a regular basis.
Help develop agendas and run semi-annual group sales meetings.
Determine trade show participation.
Monitor team travel and entertainment expenses.
Assist the Credit Manager as necessary to minimize bad debt. Follow broad based directives.
Education & Qualifications
What you will need to succeed:
Four-year degree in business, sales, marketing or horticulture preferred.
Minimum of five years’ experience in sales required; sales management preferred.

Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of product line.
