Orion Solutions Group is working with an industry leading Global Logistics Services provider, in search of a Key Account Manager. As a Key Account Manager, you’ll drive our client’s growth by managing and nurturing key global client relationships. Your strategic insights and customized solutions will shape the future of their supply chains, making a significant impact on their business.

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 (based on experience) + Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Be at the forefront of international logistics, with working knowledge of managing global supply chains for Tier 1 clients in a mode agnostic fashion.
  • Leverage your sales expertise with a company that values innovation and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver seamless and customized transportation solutions.
  • Managing and growing relationships with key clients.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with your portfolio.
  • Developing and implementing customized logistics solutions to meet client needs.
  • Meeting sales targets and contributing to company growth and profitability.
  • Conducting regular business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with internal departments for seamless service delivery.
  • Managing client RFPs, and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Providing regular sales reports to senior leadership.
  • Travel approximately 20% (Domestic and International)

Experience/Requirements:

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Proven extensive international sales/Key Account Management experience with a global logistics services /freight forwarder/3PL.
  • Min 5 years of experience in managing Teir 1 clients. Control tower experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
