LHH is partnering with our long-time Louisville-based tech client who is seeking a polished and entrepreneurial Global Controller. As the Global Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting processes. Job Responsibilities:


  • Oversee global accounting, reporting and finance operations to ensure robust controls and a high quality close in compliance under US GAAP.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Lead the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support the annual audit process and address any audit findings or recommendations.
  • Evaluate and implement accounting systems and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee certain strategic Controllership M&A integration, including process and system integration. Collaborate with key functional leaders such as supply chain and operations on operational integration.
  • Stay current on accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement within the finance function.
  • Lead technical accounting, external and internal reporting, and the close and consolidate functions.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in accounting leadership roles, with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of international accounting frameworks such as IFRS
  • Demonstrated experience managing accounting operations in a complex, multi-entity, multi-country environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • International experience with global entities
