Epic Resource Management, LLC is looking for a Resort General Manager (RGM) to support team members in the at a Brand-New RV Resort at Lake Conroe, Texas.  This position is for immediate hire. Epic Resource Management strives to exceed the expectations of our guests and clients, while creating a fun and professional environment. The Resort General Manager (RGM) position is a vital part of our company’s management team. A strong candidate will have the right balance of management, financial, sales and communication skills. The candidate will be well rounded, have a sense of urgency and be a self-starter, ensuring a positive atmosphere and extend approachable leadership to all team members and guests.

Job Summary:

The RGM will be responsible for setting and leading the operational direction for all team members at the RV Resort. The position should deliver strong leadership and talent development at all levels of the organization and deliver an organized and efficient work environment. The company goal is to deliver memorable life-long experiences for our RV resort guests.

Essential Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the resort and work collaboratively with other departments. 

Manage all operational aspects with a primary focus on identifying ways to increase NOI.

Perform financial analysis of property performance & provide recommendations to increase performance.

Review and evaluate weekly, monthly & quarterly operating performance versus the budget.

Review and evaluate market and submarket comps and track against property performance. 

Proactively address changes to market conditions. 

Work with Executive team on annual budget and financing reporting. 

Negotiate third party contracts.

Implement operating procedures and policies as it relates to personnel, financial reporting and overall operations at the resort to ensure smooth daily operations. 

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation and hiring of the teams under management, as it relates to the resort staff. 

Develop strategies and programs which improve the competitive position of the company.

Ensure property team training and performance is in accordance with Company policies and values.

Build a collaborative positive team environment and provide team members with direction and feedback.

Mentor your team in developing leadership behaviors. Set high quality standards for all team members, coaching and mentoring junior members of the team to do the same for their staff. Ensures team members comply with the Company’s standard operating procedures.

Work directly with executive leadership to shape the overall strategic direction of the Resort on a short and long-term basis including, but not limited to customer experience, employee experience, operational excellence in accordance with company and financial goals.

Carry out supervisory and management responsibilities in accordance with company standards.

Communicate daily with team members on the performance of the asset, making recommendations for review and implementation.

Complete regular & daily site inspections of grounds, buildings, lodging, etc. to ensure the team is meeting their obligations and company & guest expectations.

Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Qualifications and Expectations:

3+years of property management, preferably at least 2 years in RV Resort and/or Multifamily, or Hospitality sectors.

Demonstrates ability to influence, manage, and present ideas in clear written and oral communication.

Strong financial experience

Ability to do light travel and be flexible in work hours based on Resort and Company needs

Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
