Job Summary

The Gainsight Administrator role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of customer success management solutions at Paycor. As the technical owner, they must work across business units to a gain clear understanding of functional requirements and use their Gainsight expertise to develop solutions leveraging capabilities of the Gainsight platform.

The Gainsight Administrator must have in-depth knowledge of Gainsight best practices to ensure scalable solutions are being implemented. You must be able to translate business requirements into optimal technical solution that meets Paycor’s long term objectives. This individual will be involved in some of the key customer success management initiatives and must provide architectural governance over Paycor’s key customer success management solutions.

In addition, the Gainsight Administrator must be a team player with excellent communication skills.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and administer the Gainsight platform (system configuration, reports, dashboards, end-to-end workflows, systems integrations)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional end users to gather business requirements that impact Gainsight and SalesForce, and configure the system to meet those needs (partnering with other operations teams as needed)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify key metrics, data sources, and the frequency and granularity of data feeds
  • Develop new business processes in partnership with Customer Success leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Manage the rollout of processes, including thoughtful timing
  • Design business rules that analyze customer data and trigger actions for the Customer Success team to engage with customers
  • Manage mapping and documentation of customer success processes
  • Manage day-to-day support of Gainsight users, including fielding questions, ad-hoc customizations, design and implementation of core functionality, workflow adjustments, and user administration, security, and permissions
  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user activity and suggestions to make recommendations, thus establishing a process of continuous improvement of the Gainsight platform
  • Maintain expertise in Gainsight and other relevant software by staying up to date on new features, trends, and related technologies
  • Proactively offer recommendations for improvement of existing tools and processes to increase efficiencies, including adopting new features in each Gainsight major release
  • Troubleshoot configuration and integrations of production environment functionality, engaging additional technical resources where needed

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent business experience required
  • 2+ years of experience with the system design, data modeling, and database management and configuration of Gainsight NXT
  • Gainsight administration experience, or Gainsight Associate Administrator (Level 1) Certification (Level 2 and Level 3 preferred)
  • Demonstrated rapid, self-driven, experiment-driven learning of unfamiliar systems/software
  • Experience working in customer success, or equivalent understanding of key customer success principles; Customer-facing experience especially as a Customer Success Manager, and / or experience in operations for customer success, sales, support, services, or marketing preferred
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to understand business requirements and translate them to effective use of applications
  • High energy self-starter; must be flexible and able to take the initiative with minimal guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership
  • Creative solutions-oriented mindset and innovator
  • Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to intuitively diagnose issues using data
  • Excellent critical thinking skills; must be able to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs
  • Strong attention to detail, especially as it relates to change management and releases of system improvements/updates
  • Ability to work in an agile-driven culture and adapt to changing requirements

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $74,380-126,984. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
