Repair dents, gouges, deep scratches, burn marks, broken corners, and edges
Use sandpaper and compounds to remove scratches, raise sheen, lower sheen, and bring a dull finish to life.
Use burn-in sticks, epoxy fillers, sandpaper, and adhesives
Understand color matching principles, primary and secondary colors, effects of white and black on colors, and color intensity levels
Understand proper application techniques as they relate to furniture repair including low-odor solvent-based touch-up coatings, aerosols, markers, and proper brushing materials
Must be able to replace parts and or repair wood and upholstery furniture
Leather touch-up and upholstery repair
Physical Demands
Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of furniture up to 100#’s. Regular walking, bending, twisting, climbing, carrying, pushing, pulling, crouching, and kneeling when inspecting and repairing furniture.
Position Requirements
Requires punctuality and regular attendance and must be able to work one weekend day per week.
