The Role

At EF, the role of a Tour Director is both challenging and rewarding. Tour Directors work alongside EF to help students and teachers from North America discover the world through educational travel. No two days are ever the same, and there is never a dull moment on tour.

Every EF Tour Director has a love for travel; what truly makes them unique is their passion for sharing their knowledge & experiences and their unrelenting pursuit of lifelong learning. Great organizational and interpersonal skills are also necessary for everything including liaising with suppliers, managing tour logistics, engaging with students, and leading fun and educational activities. Tour Directors also use their passion and knowledge to bring the history and stories of each visited destination to life in a way that captivates, inspires and enhances our traveler’s understanding of the world around them.

Tour Directing is a fantastic and flexible role for someone who enjoys working independently and taking ownership, connects quickly with others, can think on his/her/their feet, and has a true passion for providing experiential learning opportunities to students and schools from all walks of life.
