Summary Of The Role
As a Forecasting Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end invested asset forecasting processes. To be successful within this role, the candidate must be driven, detail oriented, and have a strong understanding of investments supplemented by knowledge of accounting. Ability to manage multiple, time sensitive, deliverables will also be paramount. The role will require close engagement with senior leaders across finance, technology, investments, and analytics to drive the projection process and paint a roadmap of the firm’s financial footprint to drive business decisions. This role will also manage a team based throughout the globe.

About The Role
- Manage planning and forecasting processes for the firm and analyze outputs with a focus on alignment with business strategies; financial performance articulated under both US GAAP and Statutory accounting lenses, as well as other key performance indicators
- Produce standardized analytical package for Corebridge leadership articulating firm-wide forecast for financial performance
- Provide recurring GAAP and statutory financial forecasts to meet rating agency, regulatory and capital planning needs
- Drive re-engineering of Corebridge’s forecasting processes to enable forecasting of GAAP and Statutory results under multiple macroeconomic scenarios.
- Analysis of quarterly GAAP and STAT results, which serve as the launch point for the forecast
- Position requires: an analytical individual; strategic mindset; robust attention to detail and accuracy; and strong knowledge of finance, investments, and accounting
- 6+ years financial planning/forecasting experience in insurance or banking
- Broad knowledge of U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting
- Ability to analyze large data sets, across multiple metrics, to identify and remediate anomalies associated with analytics or forecast inputs
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI Reporting, and other automation tools a plus
- A team player who can train junior team members, work with the front office to build their reinvestment plan, or present results to the senior leadership team.
- Drive innovation to expand the current forecasting capabilities to be nimble and broaden capabilities to produce forecast under various scenario conditions.
