About The Role

WNDR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Supervisor to join the team! Reporting to the General Manager, this person will be responsible for assisting in the training of the WNDR team, providing exceptional guest service, troubleshooting installations and escalating product and performance problems as needed.

This person should be a team leader, problem-solver and innovator who is passionate about hospitality and exceptional WNDR experiences

Essential Functions

  • Assist guests with ticketing issues including rebookings, exchanges, refunds and Guest of the Day comps
  • Acts as the first line of defense to resolve guest issues
  • Authorize discounts at the box office, lounge and retail store
  • Solicit feedback from guests and team members to continually improve the guest and employee experience
  • Steps in to cover any position when necessary
  • Provides support to team members on ways to enhance guest satisfaction and ambassador performance
  • Executes training sessions for new team members on museum operations, retail operations, customer service standards, and safety protocols
  • Completes onboarding checklists with new Ambassador hires
  • Coordinates coverage for breaks to maintain seamless operations
  • Checking out Ambassadors at the end of theirs shifts when necessary
  • Show proactive initiative to mentor team members and ensure their success
  • Help identify opportunities for unreasonable hospitality while engaging with guests
  • Supervise and ensure completion of delegated tasks
  • Liaises with A/V manager for complex installation troubleshooting
  • Maintain access to key for cleaning, restocking, and exhibit troubleshooting purposes
  • Assists in periodic maintenance of installations
  • Leads by example, with high visibility, demonstrating values of Unreasonable Hospitality.

QUALIFICATIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality, retail or entertainment industry preferred
  • Enthusiasm for the WNDR brand and ability to represent WNDR with professionalism and integrity.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly, with both empathy and authority with a diverse team of all races, orientations, genders, and backgrounds
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic technical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mobility: This position involves both active and stationary activities, including: standing, reaching, kneeling, climbing, using a ladder and maintaining balance while walking.
  • Lifting: Candidates must be capable of lifting, carrying, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Being present in a space with a significant amount of multi-sensory stimulation including but not limited to multiple recorded audio tracks played over speakers, crowd noise, abrupt shifts in lighting, strobe lights and multiple video devices visible at once.
