Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Manager who will also fulfill the role of a driver and oversee vehicle maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring their efficient operation, coordinating maintenance schedules, and driving as needed to support operational requirements.

Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Manager who will also fulfill the role of a driver and oversee vehicle maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring their efficient operation, coordinating maintenance schedules, and driving as needed to support operational requirements.
What you'll do:
- Manage a fleet of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and specialized vehicles.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and repaired as necessary.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure vehicle safety.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and overall fleet performance.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Drive vehicles as needed to transport goods, equipment, or personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers or cargo during transportation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend repairs.
- Keep vehicles clean and in good condition both internally and externally.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, mileage, and maintenance history.
- Prepare reports on fleet utilization, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage fuel usage and costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager, preferably with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of driving and vehicle maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in automotive technology is a plus.
- A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required depending on the type of vehicle operated.
- This position involves both office-based administrative tasks and field-based driving and maintenance duties.
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate operational needs and emergencies.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and physical exertion during vehicle maintenance activities.
- Class A Driver's License
