Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Product Analyst to join our team. The Financial Product Analyst will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and evaluating financial products, as well as supporting the development and enhancement of new and existing products. This role requires strong quantitative skills, market research capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial products and services.
Roles And Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape for financial products.
Analyze customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes affecting financial products.
Financial Product Development:
Assist in the development and launch of new financial products, including defining product requirements, features, and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, marketing, IT) to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling to assess the profitability and viability of new product initiatives.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor the performance of existing financial products, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for optimization.
Recommend product enhancements, pricing adjustments, and marketing strategies to improve product profitability and customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for financial products.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure product documentation and disclosures meet regulatory standards.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support customer inquiries, resolve product-related issues, and enhance customer experience.
Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product enhancements and improvements.
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) may be advantageous.
3-5 years of experience in financial product management, product development, or financial analysis within the banking, investment, or fintech industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and quantitative methods.
Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
