Utilizing best-in-class resources and technology, you will roll up your sleeves and work in collaboration with a senior advisor to tackle complex financial, estate, and tax planning situations and deliver an experience to clients that is second to none. This is what we call fun!

Interested in more details? As a Planner, you can expect to:

    • Provide technical support to lead advisors
    • Prepare for and attend client meetings, take notes, complete follow up, and correspond with clients
    • Participate and listen carefully in client and planning meetings and translate the discussions into a strategy for data collection and analysis to help drive financial planning efforts
    • Complete accurate financial plans in Right Capital
    • Perform complex analysis of planning strategies, risks, and opportunities in the areas of retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, cash flow planning, asset allocation, asset protection, etc.
    • Own the implementation of client planning strategies
    • Develop client deliverables and reports in a timely, accurate, and informative manner
    • Continuously stay in relationship with clients and understand their unique circumstances, connections, talents, interests, etc.
    • Respond to client service needs throughout the year
    • Stay current on trends in the financial planning area
    • Recommend new or updated tools and resources to keep the firm on the cutting edge (e.g. regarding customer relationship management, trading models, etc.)
Qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • CFP® or FPQP® (Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional) designation, a bonus
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Planner, preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong computer desktop skills are required: Microsoft Office Suite, Right Capital
  • Demonstrated job stability and career progression

Team members at our firm will have multiple career tracks to choose from. For example, Planners who want to become financial advisors will be supported in pursuing the CFP® designation (and FINRA designations, as needed) and have opportunities to transition into advisory roles – service advisor to lead advisor to senior advisor – as they master increasing levels of responsibility in the organization.
