Financial Analyst

Our client, a prominent entertainment company, is looking to hire a Financial Analyst. This is a hybrid position located at their offices in Hollywood.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare participation calculations for Studio Finance team for inclusion in program ultimates
• Track incoming participation statements, perform reviews, and compare with associated audit rights in order to determine the Studio’s position for possible audit engagement
• Review legal agreements and participation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations
• Assist in cash planning and forecasting for long range participation and residual payments
• Research and resolve guild and third party audit settlements and legal proceedings related to Studio participations and residuals
• Work in team environment on various high exposure FP&A projects for executive understanding and decision making process
• Must be able to work with and analyze large amounts of data

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
• Must have experience working in the entertainment industry
• Advanced skills in MS Excel using pivot tables and lookups is a plus as well
