Position Summary: The Financial Analyst will assist with current finance operations such as A/P, A/R, billing, invoicing, and financial reporting. The Financial Analyst is responsible for setting clients up for billing, issuing invoices to clients, and ensuring invoices are accurate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue invoices to clients timely and accurately
• Manage billing preferences for 600+ client accounts and adjust invoices as needed
• Evaluate all billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
• Oversee A/R transactions and primary lead of A/R outreach
• Communicate with internal and external business partners to answer questions and resolve any issues
• Identify and assist with resolving errors in billing operations
• Complete month-end financial reporting for close package
• Escalate issues promptly to management
• Scan/deposit physical checks
• Issue payments to vendors

Minimum Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or 1-3 years billing experience
• Prior experience using several source systems to electronically process large volume of transactions on a recurring monthly basis preferred
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Pharmacy or Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience with, or knowledge of, electronic billing and accounts payable procedures preferred
• Acute attention to detail
• Experience in the employee benefit, insurance, healthcare, or B2B services sectors is preferred
