Position Summary: The Financial Analyst will assist with current finance operations such as A/P, A/R, billing, invoicing, and financial reporting. The Financial Analyst is responsible for setting clients up for billing, issuing invoices to clients, and ensuring invoices are accurate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients timely and accurately
- Manage billing preferences for 600+ client accounts and adjust invoices as needed
- Evaluate all billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee A/R transactions and primary lead of A/R outreach
- Communicate with internal and external business partners to answer questions and resolve any issues
- Identify and assist with resolving errors in billing operations
- Complete month-end financial reporting for close package
- Escalate issues promptly to management
- Scan/deposit physical checks
- Issue payments to vendors
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or 1-3 years billing experience
- Prior experience using several source systems to electronically process large volume of transactions on a recurring monthly basis preferred
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Pharmacy or Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
Candidate Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience with, or knowledge of, electronic billing and accounts payable procedures preferred
- Acute attention to detail
- Experience in the employee benefit, insurance, healthcare, or B2B services sectors is preferred
