Financial Analyst
Job Description
Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects of public or private institutions. Job Duties: Collects and analyzes financial information, including labor hours and cost, travel and other direct expenses, for assigned projects in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals. Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making. Analyzes labor hours and expenditures to make recommendations for action and/or modifications to timesheets and forecasts. Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements for the business line. Experience and Education: Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Requirements
Previous experience as financial analyst, pulling general ledger data and other financial information from multiple sources and merging together to analyze actuals vs budget and forecast
Advanced Excel capabilities
Detail oriented
Experience With Project Accounting Or Project Cost Tracking Preferred
Experience with Great Plains or Adaptive Insights helpful
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Years of Experience: 3-5 Years
