Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Assistant Manager at PHA Georgia, LLC located in Savannah, GA. The Finance Assistant Manager will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Manager through with administrative and financial task including but not limited to invoicing, budget drafting, issuing purchase order and implementing and managing procurement processes. They will also assist in preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for planning and execution of financial duties and projects.
  • Prepares financial statement, reports and forecast assuring business financial stability.
  • Monitoring of cash flow and analyzing receivables, payables and inventory levels to ensure all are within acceptable limits.
  • Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Gathering financial reports and supervising month-end processes.
  • Supervises monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews; prepares, analyzes and reconciles monthly financial statements.
  • Provides management, local and abroad, with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress.
  • Provides supervision of company payroll processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Reports operational results to HQ (Korea) monthly and quarterly in the standardized forms provided by HQ
  • Determines the cost of inventory and make a necessary inventory valuation adjustment upon review
  • Understands manufacturing costing in SAP, reviews cost drivers monthly, and make a necessary adjustment
  • Supervises FI closing and performs CO closing
  • Prepares annual and 5-year midterm budgets respectively
  • Works with the outside tax filers to file tax returns for the company
  • Coordinates the half-year and year-end financial audits with the accounting firms
  • Other duties as required and assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year College or university in Finance or Business, and three (3) years of related experience and/or training.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Must have extensive experience in the field of cost accounting.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred, but not Required, Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Korean
  • Computer skills required: SAP ERP


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 10 pounds
  • Work area is heat/air conditioned in an office-type environment.
