The Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician I is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing biomedical equipment at customer sites. This position requires excellent customer service skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical equipment at customer sites
Document all service activities and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
Provide technical support to customers and other team members
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service calls
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
Strong technical skills and knowledge of biomedical equipment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
Must have valid driver's license
Must pass background and drug screen,
