What's This Job All About? Responsible for continual communication with and relationship development of Family Office clients, prospects, and COIs. In coordination with Family Office team members, responsible for developing investment policy statements, family wealth blueprints, determining asset allocation, coordinating investment selection and implementation, and overseeing Family Office client portfolios that meet client objectives. Responsible for ensuring that Family Office client portfolios are managed using industry and Greenleaf Trust best practices. _______________________________________________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing? Ensure strong knowledge and suitable expertise to leverage sophisticated and innovative approaches to managing our client's wealth. Oversee implementation of investment policy statement. Develop and recommend strategies to achieve the investment goals of Family Office clients in concert with the in-house Research Team and Wealth Management Team. Create wealth management plans for prospective clients which will serve as a framework for the relationship and highlight the objectives of the portfolio. Coordinates all aspects involved with managing Family Office client portfolios, including executing trades, maintaining investment action plans, monitoring, and addressing overdrafts, conducting Reg. 9 investment reviews, and documenting account activities and client interaction. Optimize after-tax portfolio performance and execution through portfolio construction and buy and sell trade recommendations. Meet with prospective and existing clients and COIs on a regular basis to maintain open communication and convey opportunities within Greenleaf Trust. Meet with Family Office clients to review investment performance and partner with Research Team and Wealth Management Team to understand market changes based on economic and industry analysis, including objectives and asset allocation models, ensuring current allocations are appropriate. Creatively implement and execute new investment strategies, robust risk mitigation approaches and process improvements in conjunction with the Research Team and Wealth Management Team. Expert and a go-to resource for The Family Office team regarding portfolio strategies and portfolio-based complex wealth planning strategies. Oversee analytic support for client consulting projects. Work closely with Family Office, Wealth Management, and Research Team members to support clients' needs. Participate in designated workgroups and projects as assigned. Develop and implement process improvements. All other duties as assigned. Refer to the Personnel Information Security Guide and the Information Security Policy Manual for further guidance on information security responsibilities and expectations. _______________________________________________________________________________ What You Need For This Position: MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Bachelor's Degree and minimum seven years' experience in investment management or equivalent education and experience. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and/or the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designations are preferred. Greenleaf Trust will consider candidates without key certifications; however, expects employees to earn relevant designations after being selected for their role.
