Job Summary: The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of machinery and workspaces for American Durafilm. This position will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to equipment used in the production process. Additional duties will include facilities care, such as snow removal or small repairs. American Durafilm will provide necessary tools for this position.
Job Duties:
· Responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on various machinery and equipment.
· Performs regular system checks to identify issues with equipment before malfunctions occur.
· Ensures machinery and facilities are kept in safe operating condition, taking action to correct if needed.
· Coordinate with outside contractors when needed, responsible for working with management for approval and monitoring the completion of the job.
· Responsible for keeping track of parts inventory, placing orders for more as needed.
· Work with staff when reports of facilities concerns arise, such as plumbing or electrical issues.
· When necessary, perform snow removal or general landscaping duties on premises.
· Work with management to identify areas of improvement or upgrades needed for equipment or facilities.
· Ensure all safety regulations are being adhered to in the scope of equipment usage.
· Work with other locations remotely or in person to troubleshoot offsite equipment issues.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid driver's license
· Intermediate welding skills
· Knowledge of general electrical and plumbing
· Must be able to interpret work orders, trainings documents, and safety materials with or without a reasonable accommodation
· Must be able to stand, sit, crouch, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50lbs
· Ability to work independently and with a team to complete jobs
· Ability to use company vehicle to travel to Dover, New Hampshire location to assist with maintenance orders as needed.
