Export Supply Chain Manager

PRNA Export Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

The position will be responsible for the exports supply chain execution of Brands produced in North America to the rest of the world. Ensure compliance and develop a framework that allows PRNA to meet all customs requirements. Liaison between PRNA and other Pernod Ricard affiliates throughout the world to ensure that our products reach its market destination on time, in full and in compliance with local laws. Consolidate demand from the world for local bottling sites. Determine optimal inventory needs with our domestic bottling sites ensuring that it is allocated efficiently and optimally to each market. Lead S&OP calls for the export business.

Works closely with brand companies (producer), market companies (seller), Logistics, customer service, warehousing, Sales and Marketing teams.

S&OP & Inventory Planning

  • Consolidate global demand for each export Brand to drive production requirements.
  • Lead and participate in regular S&OP meetings, sharing information and providing updates to internal stakeholders including Marketing, Finance, Planning and Sales.
  • Leading reviews with manufacturing organization to ensure appropriate coverage and customer service.
  • Develop and continually calibrate the shipment forecast. Track shipment plans for compliance.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels to satisfy export demand.
  • Lead communication processes between suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Logistics and Supply Chain

  • Develop an export compliance framework and document processes for all export Brands.
  • Ensure product compliance with destination market: label requirements, Case requirements, specifications.
  • Act as customer service for export markets.
  • Liaison with Logistics team to ensure freight carriers meet demands of the export business.
  • Track out of stock (OOS) incidents and manage expedited processes with the Supply Chain Managers.
  • Provide complete transparency to key stakeholders regarding key challenges and potential resolutions.

Project Support

  • Prepare, define, and implement projects for better execution of the export supply chain process.
  • Participate as required in Headquarters, North American Operations initiated projects.
  • Review design and implement new ways of working within the Supply Chain team to drive productivity, customer collaboration and Supply Chain performance.

General

  • Conduct annual continuous improvement (CI) process review and identify key CI initiatives. Prepare improved workflow, documents and roles and responsibilities as agreed and communicate and publish changes to PRNA teams.
  • Anaplan - work on continued improvement and enhancement of the Anaplan system.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Required: bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field preferred

Experience/Background

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, or related position
  • 5+ years of export and customs compliance experience.
  • 2+ years - Experience Managing People
  • 5+ years Excel, Supply chain planning technologies like Anaplan, JDE, SAP etc.
  • 2+ years' experience with Decision Support tools (Oracle Business Intelligence, Power Bi, COGNOS, etc.)
  • Proven, successful track record of earning trust and influencing across the organization and leading others cross-functionally to deliver on projects and goals.
  • Thinks strategically but stays on top of tactical execution.
  • Team Building and Leadership Experience
  • Alcohol Beverage Industry experience preferred.

Required Skills/ Competencies

  • Ability to advise senior-level management and manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • High level of communication, negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to organize and manage area to achieve results and track performance so that problems are detected early or prevented entirely.
  • Excellent presentation, data visualization and communication skills
  • Experience working with multi-echelon hierarchies and senior management.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, and Word)
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, can cope with ambiguity.
