We are searching for a talented and experienced Integration Engineer to join our team in a remote role supporting clients in Tallahassee, FL.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in assessing system interoperability to ensure compatibility and facilitate smooth data exchange within the Tallahassee-based client’s cybersecurity projects. This position requires a deep understanding of integration processes, data formats, security protocols, and system compatibility. You will work closely with other team members, project managers, and stakeholders to document, optimize, and support various integration tasks, ensuring efficient and secure operations.
$90K/year - $120K/year
Responsibilities:
Evaluate adoption of new tools and integration processes within the client’s cybersecurity framework.
Determine system interoperability by documenting new connections, data formats, interdependencies, and security protocols.
Review mechanisms, protocols, results, and insights of data exchange and testing between tools and systems.
Review interoperability and security protocols, including encryption methods and authentication protocols during data exchange, security, and backup.
Evaluate feedback from stakeholders on integration issues and provide training and awareness as necessary.
Identify and address integration issues, data flow gaps, license information/tracking issues, and other related challenges.
Provide support to users throughout the lifecycle of tool integration.
Prepare and provide input for final reports, detailing findings, recommendations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration, interoperability assessment, and cybersecurity.
Ability to communicate and identify project challenges to develop solutions.
Strong understanding of data formats, security protocols, and system compatibility.
Proven experience in documenting and optimizing integration processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
