About The Role

The Experience Writer has about 1–3 years of experience writing for digital experiences that can range from websites, online learning courses, mobile apps, in-product workflows and descriptions, digital ads, emails, and landing pages.

They have a strong interest in content strategy and are interested in learning about and helping craft content artifacts like style guides, content audits, and content matrices.

This role is an eager collaborator and hungry student of the craft of writing and how UX writing is a powerful force in Ogilvy's commitment to shaping human-centric digital experiences.

  • Shows strong project management skills

Primary Responsibilities

  • Writes error-free copy, possesses strong command of nuances of English language and efficiently self-edits, and can help edit internal documents, briefs, etc
  • Familarizes oneself with data and research and uses insights to inform copy decisions
  • Proactively asks questions when tasks are unclear, generates ideas and copy that meets the criteria of a project while also offering a creative perspective to the problem at hand.
  • Eager to help generate content ideas that will achieve the desired results
  • Collaborates intentionally with designers, researchers, developers, and strategists
  • Willing to participate in client meetings to speak about their work and accepts client feedback with enthusiasm and curiosity

Experience

  • 1­­–3 years of experience writing for digital experiences
  • Has a strong interest in working with SEO teams or a specialist to write copy optimized for the best digital experiences
  • Familiar with design tools like Figma, Miro, or InVision. Experience using SEO tools like SEMRush, Moz, or Ahref's. Knowledge of document review & sharing platforms like Microsoft Suite or SharePoint. Experience using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, etc.

The compensation for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range

$45,000—$90,000 USD
