Executive Producer

The Xbox team is looking for an Executive Producer who is passionate about video games and video storytelling for a wide audience across the globe. This role will join a team of Executive Producers, reporting to the Head of Premier Broadcast, to help oversee the strategy and production of large-scale broadcasts for Xbox. Examples include the Xbox Games Showcase, Developer_Direct, Xbox Partner Preview, and more.

From concept to completion, the Executive Producer will collaborate and work closely with the Head of Premier Broadcast, content leads, social leads, regional market leads, executives, developers, and other content partners to execute large-scale broadcasts that put our players/audience first and celebrate Team Xbox and our many gaming communities across the globe. They will bring a diverse games and platform portfolio together into a cohesive programming strategy that meets both the needs and rhythm of the content as well as the expectations of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of live broadcasts alongside Team Xbox.
  • Grow engagement across our broadcasts by helping discover ways we can enhance the overall content offering and develop creative solutions that can scale appropriate to the content.
  • Develop new broadcasts and storytelling ideas to engage our unique audiences across Intellectual Properties(IP)s and/or platforms.
  • Establish and maintain consistent processes for shows that are repeatable across franchises and platforms.
  • Work with Team Xbox, vendors, and external production companies to deliver creative, high-quality, and efficient solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, both internal and external.
  • Help impact thought-leadership around the state of content creation, including trends related to content creators, game developers/publishers, innovations in streaming technology and platforms, trends in each region, etc.
  • Represent our content, show strategy, and data/insights to key Xbox leadership team members.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience of video production and storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership, creative communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to identify and rationalize the range of success metrics for constituent stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with various forms of storytelling and story packaging that suit a variety of platforms.
  • Willingness to try bold new ideas and accept and learn from feedback.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
