What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Executive Assistant that provides high-level administrative support to the Vice President for Human Resources. This role manages critical and confidential matters. It involves continuous liaison with both internal and external stakeholders and requires expert judgement in diverse situations.


All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.


A Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant experience and an active Christian Faith is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.


What You Will Do

  • Oversees the administrative functions for the Vice President/CHRO, ensuring proactive and confidential support.
  • Gathers and organizes data for executive discussions, including meetings with university staff and external entities.
  • Coordinates and manages complex projects, staff meetings, or programs, liaising with HR AVPs, other executives, and their assistants.
  • Collaborates in the creation of presentations, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, correspondence, and responses on university-related issues.
  • Assists with budget preparations and other financial and/or operational analyses in support of the division.
  • Manages the Vice President/CHRO’s calendar, prioritizing meetings and commitments using judicious discernment.
  • Manages Vice President/CHRO’s travel arrangements and expense reimbursement.
  • Represents the Vice President/CHRO at various meetings or events.
  • Supports HR team in contract review and vendor management.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
  • Create and refine executive level deliverables using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Qualtrics.
  • Ability to comply with University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual in person attendance.
