We are seeking an experienced Event Program Manager to join our dynamic team at ThriveCart. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing high-profile events, with a primary focus on managing speakers, monitoring budgets, and ensuring exceptional event experiences.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Event Program Manager to join our dynamic team at ThriveCart. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing high-profile events, with a primary focus on managing speakers, monitoring budgets, and ensuring exceptional event experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design compelling event agendas and program schedules that align with organizational goals and attendee expectations;
- Logistics Coordination: Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and transportation;
- Speaker Management: Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify, invite, and confirm keynote speakers, panelists, and workshop leaders;
- Budget Oversight: Monitor event budgets, track expenditures, and optimize spending to ensure events are delivered within financial targets;
- Logistics Coordination: Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and transportation;
- Vendor Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with event vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure seamless execution;
- Attendee Engagement: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional strategies and materials that drive attendee registration and engagement;
- On-site Execution: Oversee on-site event management, including staff coordination, attendee registration, and troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise; and
- Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event debriefings and evaluations to analyze event success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field;
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proven experience (X years) in event planning and management, with a focus on program development and speaker management; and
- Demonstrated success in developing relationships and being the main point of contact at events.
