Estimator

We are looking to hire an Estimator for our Building Group in St. Louis, Missouri.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specification, and contract documents to establish scope of work and quantity takeoffs.
• Request quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
• Conduct bid phone calls.
• Attend estimate kickoff meetings.
• Complete assigned scope sheets
• Attend any scope meetings related to project.
• Complete meeting notes and distribute notes in estimating meetings.
• Assist in preparing estimates for each phase of the design/build or budget process as well as for negotiated or competitive bids.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and find prospective new customers.
• Complete quantity surveys and takeoffs of work and establish production rates.
• Assist in estimates and work with senior estimators managers to form final estimates.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
• Experience using Procore, ProEst, Onscreen Takeoff, MC2 , Bluebeam. Not required but preferred.
• Exceptional time management and customer relation skills
• High attention to detail
