Duties & Responsibilities
The Summer Engineering Intern will gain valuable, hands-on, experience in the analyzation ofproduction and manufacturing processes. You will learn to identify opportunities and implement changes that improve quality, safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness; Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving design, material, or process. Internship candidates must be team-oriented, self-starting, and willing to assume practical application in a professional environment setting.
Qualifications And Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in an Engineering discipline
Pass pre-employment screening (drug & background)
Desired
Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering student with an interest or experience in process improvement within a manufacturing setting
Previous internship or automotive experience; basic understanding of industrial automation, Auto CAD, SolidWorks, PLC, CNC, robotics, SPS and machine operation
MACI Intern Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST- may be flexible, based upon course schedule requirements
Ability to start by or before end of May 2025 through mid-August 2025

Freshman: $16.00/hr
Sophomore: $17.50/hr
Junior: $18.75/hr
