Engineering Project Manager

SAXUM Engineering Solutions (US) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager (PMP) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. 

Responsibilities

• Project management, coordination and/or technical lead of SAXUM’s project teams, following SAXUM’s procedures and standards and oriented to accomplish project objectives regarding approved scope of work, quality, schedule and implicated costs,
• Project development within approved terms and conditions. Identify deviations, and if deemed necessary propose and negotiate with the client the corresponding change orders,
• Keep regular communication with SAXUM’s customers regarding ongoing projects under his responsibility aimed at satisfying their specific needs and providing the required information on time,
• Develop and issue periodic project status reports to our customers, indicating project KPIs to be defined on a project-by-project basis, and any relevant project issues,
• Review SAXUM’s proposals before their issuance to our customers,
• Perform specific business development activities, as required, regarding potential new projects for SAXUM.
• Perform evaluations, make observations and/or approve the purchase orders issued to SAXUM, particularly regarding their compatibility with SAXUM’s proposals and related scope of works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering
• Strong orientation to quality, safety and customer satisfaction is essential
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions
• Detailed knowledge of procedures endorsed by PMI 
• Experience in the cement industry (preferably)

Workplace:

Ideally, the position would be held from our Irving offices. However, this is flexible and could be discussed if the candidate is not based here.
