What To Expect
The Energy Network Launch Planner leads the execution of Tesla Energy’s Network Strategy, unlocking efficient material flows and developing tools and strategies to enable cost efficiencies, high throughput capabilities, and flawless accuracy throughout our network. You’ll leverage your understanding of Supply Chain and Network Optimization to build and model a supply chain to better understand the costs and time associated with bringing goods to market determining the resources and locations needed to make it happen.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Energy Network Launch Planner to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate smooth material movement during building moves and to conduct analysis on capacity optimization when buildings are not undergoing relocation. The Energy Network Launch Planner will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient handling and transfer of materials, while also providing insights and recommendations regarding inventory management.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with project managers, logistics teams, and vendors to coordinate the movement of materials during building relocations
  • Develop and implement material movement plans
  • Monitor material movement activities, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies to maintain operational efficiency
  • Analyze capacity utilization across different parts and storage locations during non-movement periods
  • Evaluate existing minimum and maximum inventory levels to ensure optimal stocking levels for various parts and materials
  • Identify opportunities for capacity optimization and make recommendations for adjustments to inventory management strategies


  • What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in material movement coordination, inventory management, or logistics operations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control principles are a plus

  • Expected Compensation

    $66,400 - $210,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
