Elementary Spanish Teacher

Gpac has partnered with an amazing and Thriving Private school looking to add a Elementary School Spanish teacher to their staff and team for the 2024/2025 school year!!

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elemetary School Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, teaching experience, and a genuine enthusiasm for guiding young children through their educational journey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students in exploring the Spanish language and culture, while nurturing their intellectual and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons tailored to first through fifth students.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and cultural appreciation.
• Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Spanish language instruction with other subjects and interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and well-being.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay abreast of best practices in language education.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field.
• Teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
• Strong proficiency in Spanish language and culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Passed Praxis certification (desired).
  
  

Start Date: August 2024

Salary Range: $48,000 - $58,000 per year (depending on experience)
