Electronics Technician

Pay Range: $34/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

​

• Using schematic diagrams and Bills-of-Materials, fabricate breadboard and prototype electronic devices.
• Load configuration data into programmable logic devices using standard JTAG tools.
• Assemble wire harnesses (solder and crimp) from schematic diagrams and/or wire lists.
• Assist Product Engineers and other Electronics Technicians in troubleshooting faulty avionics hardware.
• Perform verification testing of avionics products using existing test documents and electronic laboratory equipment.
• Assist Product Engineers in the execution of environmental and EMI Qualification testing.
• Interface with Equipment Maintenance personnel to ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated.
• Ensure electronic test fixtures are in operable condition (cables, connectors, markings, etc.) and properly stored.
• Need an Electronics Technician to build and debug prototype DU1080 HW4 display units for evaluation and testing.
• The successful candidate will participate in the creation of Run-For-Score Verification tests as well as Environmental and EMI Qualification tests to ensure new-product compliance to regulatory and customer requirements.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Describe your experience with product prototyping.
• Which laboratory electronics test hardware are you proficient with?
• Describe your experience with Product Qualification and certification.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years’ experience as an Electronics Hardware Technician
• High proficiency in the operation of electronic laboratory equipment​
