8-10 years of experience with a specialization in high voltage substation or generation design.
Preferably experienced with High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC), and/or Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) technology.
Familiarity with ANSI and IEC standards.
Professional Engineering license preferred or ability to obtain.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for interactions with clients, subconsultants, and subcontractors.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead a multidiscipline project team of engineers in developing physical, protection, and civil engineering packages for substation EPC projects.
Ensure project engineering deliverables meet schedule and scope requirements, communicating any risks to the project manager.
Act as the customer’s primary technical contact, managing all technical aspects of EPC substation projects, including construction and procurement.
Flexible to travel locally and internationally for customer meetings and project sites (approx. 20% to 30% travel).
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors, supporting technical RFQ preparation and leading technical clarifications.
Ensure quality control of documentation and timely submission of drawings.
Coordinate interfaces between different engineering disciplines, internal departments.
Support site-based field engineers during construction phases and ensure compliance with IFC drawings.
