To present prepared instructional technology lessons to Kindergarten through 6th grade students under the direction and guidance of the Director of Instructional Technology, using technology, demonstrations, and supervised hands on instruction.
Essential Tasks And Responsibilities
Teach instructional technology lessons for grades K-6
Maintain and update computer lab as needed
Keep computers cleaned and running efficiently
Arrange the learning environment, including assembling and putting materials on bulletin boards and/or other classroom learning displays and in keep such displays current
Prepare for classroom activities by distributing and collecting papers and other instructional materials for classroom instruction
Assist students in completing classroom assignments, homework, and projects
Assure student understanding of classroom rules and procedures
Implement lesson plans
Prepare reports and documentation as needed
Perform a variety of clerical duties in support of classroom activities
Operate and care for instructional equipment and materials
Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as emergency drills, assemblies, cafeteria, restrooms, hallways, playground, etc...
Assure the health and safety of students by following established practices and procedures
Maintain the learning environment in a safe and orderly manner
Present prepared instructional technology lessons
Adhere to all policies of the District
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the building administrator and other central office administrators, as designated by the Superintendent

Certification/License
Must have 60 college hours - OR - must have successfully passed the Paraprofessional Exam
