eCommerce Manager - Fashion Brand

Los Angeles, CA (3 days/wk in-office)


Our client, a high-growth fashion brand is seeking an eCommerce Manager reporting into the Director of Site Merchandising. The ideal candidate will be part merchant, part storyteller, part product manager, and part data analyst. You’ll have a strong passion for fashion, eCommerce, and data coupled with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.


Responsibilities:


Site Content & Merchandising

-Lead & execute product set up, collaborating closely with cross functional teams to track new product deliveries and proactively work to mitigate risk

-Ensure site merchandising is optimized to drive conversion and AOV while retaining brand standards and aligning with digital art direction

-Manage updates to site experience including navigation, homepage, search, etc.

-Collaborate with marketing teams on linking strategy and execution for the newsletter and paid marketing campaigns to ensure the best possible landing experience

-Support Director of Site Merchandising with promotional strategy and execution to create an optimized experience during sale periods


Product Management

-Work with Director of Site Merchandising to build out and execute short-term and long-term product roadmaps

-Collaborate with designers and developers on site rebuilds, conversion rate optimization strategies and new feature implementation

-Work with customer service to understand user pain points and develop solutions

-Conduct QA and UAT on new feature launches


Analytics & Technology

-Understand site KPIs, customer segmentation, and trends

-Have in-depth knowledge of on-site user behavior (leveraging session recording and GA)

-Conduct competitive market analysis to understand current fashion landscape and trends

-Stay up to date on latest eCommerce and merchandising technologies


Qualifications:


-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising or similar

-2-4 years in eCommerce, ideally for a fashion or beauty brand

-Strong experience working with eCommerce platforms and CMS (Shopify Plus experience preferred)

-Experience with project and task management tools (Jira, Asana, Slack, SmartSheets, etc.)

-Ability to use Google Analytics or similar to measure site performance and KPIs

-Experience with personalization/testing and UGC/Reviews platforms

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite

-Excellent understanding of SEO best practices and trends

-Entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to roll up their sleeves to test and learn quickly

-Strong interest in the ecommerce/digital and fashion industries
