Donor & Relations Manager

A unique nonprofit in Alpine, CA is searching for a Donor & Relations Manager to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of fundraising experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment to lead fundraising and oversee their development team. This unique role enables you to make a real tangible impact on animal lives and education about animal welfare. Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in administrative tasks, data entry, and donor correspondence
• Lead grant writing and proposal efforts to secure funding for operations and projects
• Spearhead fundraising initiatives to meet and exceed revenue goals
• Assist in organizing annual events, coordinating with external personnel for event promotion
• Collaborate with marketing for the production of e-blasts, promotional materials, and flyers
• Engage in donor development activities to enhance relationships and increase contributions
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a nonprofit environment
• Proven experience in managing teams, grant writing, and donor cultivation
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work onsite and adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings for events
• Passion for animal welfare and alignment with the organization's values and mission
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Experience with DonorPerfect and GIVESMART is preferred
